For Scleral Lenses

The DMV Ultra is most commonly used for removal of scleral lenses and rigid gas permeable lenses, but can also be used for the insertion of those lenses.

DMV® Scleral Cup™

The DMV Scleral Cup is most commonly used for the insertion of scleral lenses, hybrid lenses, and soft contact lenses. It can also be used for the insertion and removal of prosthetic eyes.

The DMV® Vented Scleral Cup

The DMV Vented Scleral Cup™ is most commonly used for insertion of scleral lenses, hybrid lenses, soft contact lenses, and prosthetic eyes. Unlike the DMV Scleral Cup, this product is vented all the way through to prevent any suction.

DMV Scleral Stand

The DMV Scleral Stand is used for the insertion of scleral lenses. This very simple design allows for an inexpensive, hands-free insertion option. A DMV Vented Scleral Cup is included with each Scleral Stand.

Looking down through the Scleral Stand, the user can use a white background to create a target to help insert their lens. Since the base of the stand absorbs light, the user can also use a flashlight to create a lit target to help guide them for insertion.

The DMV® Classic™ has been adopted by Ortho-K and CRT fitters as the tool of choice for removal of lenses used for those type of fittings. It can also be used as an inserter and remover of other firm lenses such as rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses.  Due to it being vented, the suction of the product can be controlled.

The DMV® Luma-Serter™ Plus is made specifically for the insertion of scleral lenses, hybrid lenses, and soft lenses.  There are two options of using this product:

1) When attached to a penlight, the light creates a luminous center that serves as a fixation target for alignment with the eye.

2) Patients can also slide it onto their finger to help with dexterity of inserting their scleral or hybrid lenses.

The DMV Versa combines the insertion feature of the Scleral Cup and the removal feature of the Ultra into one product. One end is used for the insertion of scleral lenses and the other end is used for the removal of scleral lenses.

The DMV® 45™ is most commonly used for removal of scleral lenses and rigid gas permeable lenses, but can also be used for the insertion of those lenses. Differing from the DMV Ultra, the handle is offset 45 degrees from the cup and insertion pads.
